    TNBA Doubles Tournament - 04/05/2008

Saturday, April 5, 2008, 06:27 PM EST [General]

Well, my friend and neighbor, Bryant, called me and asked me to bowl with him again in the TNBA Doubles Tournament in Winston.  Of course I said yes.  I love to bowl.  I rolled games of 225, 248 and 257 for a 730 series.  Bryant rolled games of 202, 183, and 212 for a 597 series.  We rolled 1327 scratch and with his handicap we posted a 1363 series.  When we left, that put us in the top 10.  This tourament also was offering optional scratch singles.  With my series, that also put me in the top ten.  It was a good day of bowling.

TNBA Doubles Tournament - Creekside Lanes 03/29/08

Sunday, March 30, 2008, 07:55 AM EST [General]

Rolled a 664 series.  Games were 247, 217, and 200.  The last game should have been much higher.  I had the front 4, then left an 8 pin and missed it.  Left the 2,8 on the next shot and chopped it.  Left the 4 pin and missed it too.  I opened 3 frames in a row.  Still working on where I need to stand using the 4 step approach.  There is one more weekend of the tournament and I will be going back.
